Berkeley Economic Research Associates (BERA) - BERA provides research and consulting services to managed health care organizations, purchasers of managed care contracts, and providers of health care services to managed care organizations. BERA has considerable experience and expertise in health care data analysis available to address your research and strategic decision problems.

The Center for Economic Forecasting and Analysis (CEFA) - CEFA specializes in the construction of computer-based economic assessment and forecasting models. Analysis is conducted in a range of research areas including environmental and transportation economics, revenue forecasting, health care finance, fiscal impacts, comprehensive planning and budgeting, capital and infrastructure evaluation, and real estate and land use planning. The Center provides technical support, training, and consultation in the areas of benefit/cost and cost/ effectiveness analysis, statistical and computer model development, and other areas of economic analysis.

National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University (CASA) - Includes information on the cost, impact, prevention and treatment of substance abuse, as well as CASA news releases.

National Opinion Research Center - NORC is a non-profit corporation that conducts survey research in the public interest. Their areas of research currently include: Drugs and alcohol; Epidemiology and public health; Health services, and more.

Population Reference Bureau - PRB produces reports and newsletters on population-related subjects. The site links to many federal statistics servers, state-level servers, and private organizations that provide state data. Besides basic demographics they also link to educational, criminal justice, and environmental information.

Research Institute on Addictions - RIA is a national leader in alcohol and substance abuse prevention, treatment, and policy research. The site includes information on projects, documents and research findings, which involve studies in alcoholism, substance abuse, and related issues such as crime and violence.
